It can take 4 to 24 hours to completely charge an electric bike battery. The time required depends on both your battery and your charger. Every battery comes with a fixed number of cells, and each of these cells should reach 4.2 V for the battery to be fully charged.
You need to record the ampere per hour rating of the battery and the ampere rating of the charger. To calculate the exact time you’re going to need to fully charge your bike, simply divide the battery’s ampere per hour rating by the ampere your charger provides.
For example, if your battery has an ampere per hour rating of 15 and your charger has a rating of 3 amperes, it’s going to take you 5 hours to fully charge. You can also refer to the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure you’ve got the time right.
